Sodexo is seeking a General Manager to support our dining services at Columbia Lutheran Home on the North side of Seattle, WA. From assistance with daily tasks to specialized care, our compassionate staff ensures that each resident receives the support they need while preserving their dignity and individuality.We are seeking a talented individual who will commit to the challenges of creating and delivering a operational-culinary-driven fine-dining experience. This is a hands-on, working managers role requiring previous experience managing upscale food production, with retail and/or restaurant upscale full service management experience preferred.  Lead line cooks, line supervisors, anyone ready to advance but not being given an opportunity at their current position, we want to talk.

The successful candidate will:

• have oversight of day-to-day dining and culinary operations;
• control and ensure company and client financial targets and goals are achieved;
• ensure that the highest possible standards of food handling and preparation are achieved;
• provide technical training and expertise, coaching and leadership to the production team while working side by side in the operation as needed.

• are able to work independently and make sound business decisions within company guidelines;

• possess strong financial acumen and experience managing a food service operations budget;
• are experts in compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Qualifications & Requirements

Salary : $53,900 - $81,400
