Sodexo is seeking a Senior Core Content Writer to join our Proposal Development Team! In this role, you will be responsible for the development, management, and maintenance of the core content library within our proposal automation tool (RFPIO) supporting all segments (Universities, Healthcare, Corporate Services, Seniors, Schools, and others).
This is a Remote Role that can reside in any state!
The successful candidate will:
- Write, update and gather effective content on company offerings for all business segments
- Ensure all core content is consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice
- Coordinate core writing initiatives with the content team to produce original and adapted content that is clear, compelling and credible
- Ensure library content is up-to-date and maintains a review schedule
- Work with subject matter experts to deliver key content for use in proposals
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, subject matter experts and marketing
- Gather content from previously written documents so it is accessible for future use
- Ensure all compliance and regulatory restrictions are met
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:
- 3 years of experience developing content for proposals, marketing or sales use
- Copywriting experience (a plus)
- Facilities management experience a plus
- Exceptional technical writing and project management skills
- Proposal management platform experience
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, subject matter experts and marketing
- Ability to gain a deep understanding of company offerings with the ability to customize language to the nuances of specific businesses
- Passion for keeping abreast of new strategies and staying ahead of the competition by creating unique and reoccurring stories
- Ability to maintain high quality standards despite pressing deadlines; always striving to do work right the first time.
This role offers a base salary of $70,000-90,000 plus AIP.

Position Summary
Works closely with the Proposal Director and SMEs with a focus on specific area of expertise. In collaboration with leadership, interfaces with internal clients and support staff to ensure proposals are fully compliant, high quality, and submitted on-time. Become our in-house expert on Sodexo contracts. Works closely with constituents for identification and completion of graphics for inclusion in the proposal. Drafts the proposal content. Compiles a Compliance Matrix for inclusion in the proposal and ensures the proposal is 100% compliant. Provides summary of metrics data.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience- 3 years in technical writing, proposal writing, or a related field
