HR Generalist

Soelect Inc. is a fast-growing, multi-patented clean technology startup located in Greensboro, NC. Soelect has developed an advanced lithium metal composite anode that, when combined with a solid-state or liquid electrolyte, significantly increases energy density, power and safety while also lowering manufacturing costs through our patented material design and proprietary processes.

Position Brief

• Human Resource Generalist
• FT Position: 40hrs per week / On-site M-F / Greensboro, NC.
• Wage range of $50,000 to 65,000. Negotiable and will be based on experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree with 3-5 years’ experience in industry in Human Resources.
• Experience in recruiting and employee relations capacity preferred.
• HR Certification is desirable (PHR, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM).
• Experience in a large manufacturing environment a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead at all levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver in short time frames.
• Ability to work extra hours as necessary when the workload demands.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the recruitment, interviewing, and selection process of qualified candidates.
• Administer new employee on-boarding and orientation.
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
• Administer compensation, benefits and employee leave.
• Maintain employee personnel records.
• Assist with bi-monthly payroll processing.
• Support current and future business needs through the development of human capital.
• Nurture a positive working environment.
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
