SOFT's client, located in Hicksville, NY needs an HR Coordinator for a long term contract assignment. This position is remote, but candidates must be local to Long Island.
Job Summary
- This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team designing and delivering change; supporting a number of HR related projects, and working with all areas of a quickly changing organization. Gain exposure and experience in multiple disciplines within Human Resources through involvement in deliberate projects and assignments. Provide support to the HR Business Partners to drive and execute the business' talent initiatives by partnering to execute talent practices and other key initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Process employee transactions using SuccessFactors and other HR systems as required. Transactions include new hires, promotions, transfers, pay adjustments, title changes and terminations.
- Manage employee data; maintain data integrity and accuracy.
- Run reports, create pivot tables, gather information, create presentations or provide other tools/analytics for decision making.
- Support HR Business Partner with day to day HR matters.
- Answer general employee questions, research problems and/or refer issues to appropriate subject matter experts.
- Identify areas of opportunities and proactively recommend solutions.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate with others on the HR team and stakeholders across the company
- Partner with talent acquisition on end to end hiring process.
Required:
- 2-3 years of experience as a HR Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Tech Savvy and adaptable to new software systems
- Experience using SuccessFactors or applicant tracking system
- Experience in data analytics and quality assurance
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience managing competing priorities
- Must be willing and able to work independently and exercise sound discretion and judgment
- Must maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
