What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Construction Superintendent position at Softcom Systems Inc?
Candidate will be comfortable overseeing full scope of phase of construction in large project under the direction of a senior superintendent onsite. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with client and other parties, establish and meet a timeline for completion of phase of construction they are assigned. Candidate will be responsible for management of all trades involved in the project in a harmonious manner to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operation of construction projects
- Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
- Communicate project progress with project managers, senior superintendent and client
- Manage subcontractors and construction site organization
Qualifications
- 7 - 10 years of experience in construction area Strong project management and communications skills
- Ability to read and understand construction documents
- Familiarity with regulatory construction standards
- Communicate work outside of original scope with project managers in a timely manner
- Proficient in communication via email, ProCore and computer use
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
