SoftServe is seeking a Pre-Sales Cloud Engineer to assist the Sales team by problem-solving key technical issues for our customers. The successful candidate will have a focus on multi-cloud technologies (AWS, GCP) and be willing to support a deal pursuit cycle together with the extended team of technical and delivery experts.
YOU ARE
Showing the following experience
- Serving in the capacity of a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment, or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role (including working as a member of professional services or systems engineering team)
- AWS and GCP (at least 2 years). Having fundamental skills in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining projects on AWS/GCP. Understanding of AWS/GCP cloud architecture, and data processing systems, and ability to design robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions and explain how they can drive the business objectives
- Presenting and delivering technical pitches
- Industry-related (AWS or GCP) certifications
- Willingness to travel a minimum of 30% (please note: domestic AND international travel will be required) to customer sites, conferences, team locations, and other related events (depending on COVID measures)
Possessing extra advantages in
- Understanding of how to leverage, deploy, and continuously train pre-existing machine learning models
- Data and information management especially, as it relates to big data trends and issues within businesses
- Working with EMEA and APAC regions
YOU WANT TO WORK WITH
- Internal team and partners to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections and develop the strategy to resolve technical issues
- Traveling to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required
