UAT Test Engineer I

• Create test plans for simple to moderately complex projects.
• Execute functional and regression test cases as well as performance and security test cases. Create and maintain requirements traceability matrices. Identify test data required for projects.
• Create and update automated scripts for existing and new functionality.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Business Analysts throughout the testing process to ensure correct reporting information is relayed. Provide specific examples of regular, ongoing decisions made by this position related to this duty.
• Analyze system requirements, identify and document the most important test cases.
• Analyze the effectiveness of test cases and then make any necessary improvements. Determine what test data is needed and how this test data can be obtained.
• In performing this duty, provide examples of typical problems or challenges encountered by this position, and the guidance used to resolve the problem.
• If issues beyond what is typical in the normal testing environment are discovered, solicit feedback from project team or more experienced testers.
