OUR MISSION

Established in 2021, SoHo Bistro & Lounge is a new restaurant and bar serving the Manchester area. With delicious appetizers, entrees, and drinks, anyone can find something to enjoy here! Our managing partner, Barry Longshaw has been in the restaurant and nightclub business for over 30 years and is skilled at creating an excellent upscale dining experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT CHEF

In this position, you're responsible for taking charge of the kitchen operations and ensuring that the quality of the food is top-notch. You work closely with our executive chef to plan menus, create innovative dishes, and maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation. Your day-to-day tasks include assisting with food preparation, cooking, plating, and supervising kitchen staff. You also ensure that the kitchen is always clean, organized, and safe to work in. WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE AN ASSISTANT CHEF?

• Experience as a line or sous chef
• Food handlers permit or the ability to acquire one

SCHEDULE

The typical schedule for this part-time food service position is about 10 hours per week, with shifts between the hours of 4 PM - 1 AM, Tuesday - Saturday.
