What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation + Warehouse Coordinator position at Solace Nutrition?
The Sanitation Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for ensuring sanitation protocols are being followed and executed as well as ensuring operational efficiency throughout our warehouse facility. The Sanitation Warehouse Coordinator is required to implement cleaning policies, perform daily sanitation inspections, and assist in warehouse operations as necessary.
- Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
- Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
- Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in duties concerned with sanitation programs in our establishment.
- Monitoring the preparation and use of cleaning chemicals.
- Train other employees on sanitation practices as well as organize refresher workshops for existing staff.
- Direction given of the use of cleaning equipment work areas.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties assigned in Master Sanitation Schedule Inspection and examination of products, and equipment for conformity to federal and station standards.
- Inspect the manufacturing process to determine sanitation protocols.
- Perform daily inspections of the manufacturing facility and report any irregularities.
- Implement sanitation policies and protocols
- Examines incoming shipments of food ingredients for foreign matter, like insects, poisons, or dirt, and gathers samples of ingredients for laboratory analysis.
- Conduct weekly pest control inspections
- Implementation and monitoring of cleaning schedules.
- Ensure that cleaning and sanitizing agents are identified, used, held, and stored in a manner that protects against adulteration of raw materials and in-process or finished products, and against contamination of processing equipment, utensils, and packaging materials.
- All personnel establish and execute procedures for maintenance, cleaning, and sanitization of all equipment, utensils, and contact surfaces.
- Update all Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs) as needed and ensure all staff are following and executing
- Compiles required reports regarding regular inspections, sanitation violations, and steps taken to resolve deficiencies.
- Conduct Pre-Operational Inspection to ensure sanitation practices are being fulfilled.
- Conduct corrective and preventative actions as necessary when conducting pre-operational inspection including sanitation validation procedures.
- Execute batch manufacturing record duties as defined. Duties include scale calibration, temperature/humidity control, completion of activities and procedure processes
- Report any food safety concerns
- Operating and managing technical equipment.
- Identifying workplace safety hazards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid fork-lifting certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Proficiency in operating technical machinery.
- Good physical condition.
- Good organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
