We are looking for a full-time equipment operator to dig trenches for electrical conduits on solar projects in the Eastern Shore area.
Summary/Objective:
The Equipment Operator safely operates various pieces of heavy equipment in the solar/electrical industry.

- Operate equipment (excavator, backhoe, and other heavy equipment)
- Keep equipment and site clean at all times
- Perform all pre and post-trip inspections and complete daily inspection reports
- Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe manner. Follow proper procedures and complete required documentation
- Understand and comply with all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies.
- Wear required PPE
- Follow all environmental regulations and clean up any excess material that could cause environmental problems
- Lock and secure assigned equipment daily at the end of the shift or as otherwise required,
- Other duties as assigned
- Perform miscellaneous duties and outside labor as requested, which may include, but not limited to, cleaning up around the site, sweeping, shoveling, picking up equipment or supplies

- Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators and backhoes
