Digital Marketing Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Marketing Manager is a full-time, hourly position. This position requires strong marketing & video creation skills including WordPress site administration, SEO and PPC experience, social media marketing knowledge, and professional level skills using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro). While this role will be focused primarily on optimizing, editing, and maintaining several WordPress websites/storefronts, other duties may include print & graphic design, video production, email marketing, and social media management. This role will include campaign development and implementation ensuring growth in the business. New product strategies, identify new markets, fresh advertising ideas, working with and managing marketing associates, creating customer testimonials to promote sales. This person will be responsible for maintaining customer reviews and responding to customers to retain our 5-star status. This role will require offsite and after hour time for tradeshows and promotional events. This person will have experience working with outside vendors and agencies managing budgets, relationships and creating a bigger presence in our community.

The right candidate for this role will be a team player who works hard and contributes to the success of SolarTech. This role requires fluent English, excellent grammar and communication skills. Ongoing knowledge of SEO/PPC best practices and current web technologies is a must.

This candidate will demonstrate an online portfolio and a proven track record.

REQUIRED DIGITAL MARKETING / E-COMMERCE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• WordPress website administration & development online storefront & multiple domain experience
• HTML5, CSS, Javascript and alike language experience
• Google PPC Ad Experience creating and managing ads with proven track record
• Video and photo creation and production and editing, good with cameras and lighting
• Professional Adobe Creative Cloud skills including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro, Power Point
• Experience optimizing & growing websites for SEO using Google’s standards, form development
• Writing Experience, Copywriting, Blogging
• Graphic design (for digital and print)
• Tradeshow management and experience
• Campaign (Customer and lead) communication & management experience (including but not limited to marketing , emails, reviews, referrals & text)
• Social media management for business – Facebook, Nextdoor, LinkedIn, BBB etc.
• YouTube management and video creation
• Lead software setup and maintenance helping attain and nurture new leads
• KPI analysis and reporting
• Photography skills
• Sound production and editing

DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Salesforce experience (CRM software experience)
• Customer communication software

• Drone experience
• Solar knowledge and experience

COMPENSATION FOR MARKETING MANAGER INCLUDES:

• $24-$26/hr (TBD based on experience)
• Incentive bonuses eligible after 90 days

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
