What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Associate position at Solco Biomedical Corp.?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare for domestic and international shipping.
- Responsible for on-time procurement of spinal implants and biologic medical products, including on-time purchase order, on time delivery, and optimal inventory management.
- Implement FIFO management system on biologics, update system for accurate inventory and optimal supply chain operation.
- Coordinate special transport for replenishment, large-scale customer requests for additional stock.
- Communicate with high-profile customers to ensure satisfactory experiences.
- Handle enquiries or compliance issues in relation to shipping or transportation matters.
- Making sure that all distributor information and records are up to date on QuickBooks.
- Keeping in touch with distributors and developing cordial relationships with them.
- Perform Quarterly forecasting and Yearly inventory audit.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Business (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Working Knowledge of PC computer systems
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Well-developed motivational and leadership skills
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. minimum
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
