Position: Pharmacy technician
Location: Burlingame, CA
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: variable days/afternoons, 5 8’s/week
Requirements: pharmacy technician experience
Education: CA CPhT
Duties:
• Communicate with pharmacists, prescribing physicians, and/or office staff
• Monitor and respond to e-mail and electronic medical records and messages in a timely manner throughout the day
• Assist in obtaining prior authorizations from insurance plans and coordination with pharmacies
• Data collection and entry
• Communicate with clinics/departments regarding medication requests and issues pertaining to medication stock and delivery
