Job Opportunity: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Are you a dedicated and compassionate BCBA looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and adolescents in the Crest Hill, IL area? Soliant Education is currently seeking a licensed BCBA to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This position focuses on providing behavioral support services to students aged 8-22 in a school setting.
Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Location: Crest Hill, IL Area
Age Range: 8-22 years old
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with challenging behaviors
- Provide direct and indirect supervision to behavior technicians and paraprofessionals implementing behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement individualized behavior support plans aligned with students' educational goals and objectives
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed based on data analysis and ongoing assessment
- Provide training and professional development to school staff on behavior management strategies, positive behavior support techniques, and crisis intervention procedures
- Collaborate with families and community agencies to support students' social-emotional development and facilitate a coordinated approach to behavior support across home, school, and community settings
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Valid Illinois State license/certification in early childhood special education or related field
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities in a school setting
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavior intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
