- General
This is a full-time position and interacts with flight crew members, the Corporate Training department, and People Services. The successful individual in this job must be an individual with high integrity/dependability and a willingness to continuously learn/adapt to requirements. In addition, excellent communication skills are required, and the successful candidate must be able to exhibit the values and culture of the company while working with flight crew members (Captains, First Officers, and Air Transportation Ground Instructors) in a fast paced/dynamic environment.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that flight crew member (Captain, First Officer, Check Airmen) required records are maintained in accordance with FAA CFR Part 121 subpart V requirements and Company policy:
- Maintain specific records for all flight crew members that include, but are not limited to, crew member proficiency and route checks, airplane and route qualifications, training, physical examinations, flight, duty, rest time records, release from employment, any physical or professional disqualifications.
- Coordinate with Crew Scheduling to ensure important records are accurate at all times so that crew scheduling is compliant with FAA and Company policy and requirements;
- Reach out to crew members to ensure missing, expired, or new and important documentation such as a renewed medical certificate are timely given to the Company to ensure un-interruption of the crew members’ qualification;
- Prepare relevant management reports as requested, including crew member crew member training and qualification milestones, anniversaries, drivers for upcoming required training, etc.
- Prepare monthly, and yearly expense reports for all training-related expenses
- Develop a yearly training footprint for all training events.
- Maintain and update electronic training schedules for training events.
- Coordinate travel and accommodation for all training-related events.
- Perform quarterly audits of Training Records both Electronic and Paper Records.
- Schedule and maintain training schedule for Air transportation Ground Instructors.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
- Ensure that flight crew member (Captain, First Officer, Check Airmen) required records are maintained in accordance with FAA CFR Part 121 subpart V requirements and Company policy:
- Qualifications
- Associates degree or greater.
- Familiarity with CFR requirements as they relate to Part 121 record keeping requirements for flight crew members.
- Previous experience in a Part 121 Flight Operations, Inflight, or SOC environment a plus.
- Airline crew scheduling background is a plus and preferred.
- Highly ethical, trustworthy individual.
- Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to accurately perform simple to semi‐advanced calculations.
- Intermediate‐to‐advanced computer skills with intermediate keyboarding /data -entry abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a driving record from the state of your primary residence that meets the Company’s insurance standards.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test, and criminal history records check (CHRC).
- Eligible to work in the United States.
