Minimum 1 years Behavior Specialist experience required.
Soliant is actively seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time, school-based role near Lakewood, NJ.
We are currently interviewing qualified professionals who meet all requirements established by local and state regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors exhibited by students.
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the results of assessments and in collaboration with the student's IEP team.
- Provide ongoing training and support to school staff, including teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators, in implementing behavior intervention plans and strategies effectively.
- Monitor student progress through data collection and analysis, making necessary adjustments to intervention plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to develop and implement behavior management strategies that can be generalized across home and school settings.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, to contribute expertise on behavior-related goals and objectives.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the fields of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and special education, and incorporate this knowledge into practice.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, progress reports, and intervention plans.
