Reporting to the Director of IT/IS, this position will be a key contributor to SOLiD's continued growth and success by ensuring that all internal systems and hardware are up and running properly. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of systems administration/networking skills, from supporting virtual environments to Microsoft Office 365 administration to end-user support. You must be capable of working independently as well as collaborating with peers. Comfort interfacing with employees, executives, and clients is also a must.
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain endpoint management system, tracking all equipment in the office and assigned to remote employees
- Handle installation, upgrades, maintenance and performance monitoring for on-premise and virtual servers
- Provide technical assistance and resolution of computer-related issues in person or via phone/email/chat
- Manage the procurement, configuration, and maintenance of computers, phones, and other technology equipment
- Create and update documentation for all IT processes
- Monitor systems daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
- Manage all software licenses and subscriptions
- Manage backup data processes, including consistent archival of old data
- Implement process for recycling old equipment and keeping server room organized
- Install and repair computer-related hardware
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on IT Support experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with VMware, Microsoft Office 365 administration and Active Directory
- Experience with networking communications and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues
- Candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents.
