Successful individual will join a team that focuses on improving the security of government systems through the development and deployment of innovative cybersecurity solutions. In particular, our group develops quantitative threat models to inform our cyber systems analyses, prototypes cyber defense techniques, and employs novel analytics to help discover and characterize cyber threats. Qualified candidate will have software development and data science expertise to work on applications for cyber security and information operations. Furthermore, this role requires machine learning engineering development.

What will you bring to the role:
Requirements
- US Citizenship and an Active Top Secret Clearance
- BS Degree and 10 years’ minimum relevant experience, or a MS Degree plus 8 years’ minimum relevant experience
Required Experience
- Large-scale system development and test-driven development
- Rapid prototyping capabilities
- Python
- TypeScript and JavaScript to maintain and extend tools and systems
- Databases: Postgres, GraphQL, Hasura, and PSQL
- ELK Stack: Adapting technologies to existing infrastructure requires Elastic, Logstash, and Kibana
- Docker containers
- Vulnerabilities and Exploit Databases including the National Vulnerability Database (NVD) with CVEs, Exploit DB, and Metasploit
- Machine Learning applications, particularly with Python
- Real-time systems
- DoD systems
- Natural language processing, including working with large language models
- Ability to self-direct when needed
