Come work in-house for the legal department of a prominent family-owned real estate company. We are a major NY landlord owning and operating commercial, residential and mixed-use properties throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. We are looking for an experienced attorney with prior experience in real estate litigation (landlord-tenant litigation) to join our in-house legal team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience practicing landlord-tenant law and be comfortable in a court room. You will be responsible for drafting motions, conducting depositions and trials in residential and commercial nonpayment and holdover proceedings and supreme court litigation. Knowledge of rent regulation laws required. This position requires you to be hands-on and to take ownership of your work. You will have the opportunity to interact with other departments in the company. Salary commensurate with experience. Come work in a collegiate, in-house environment. This is not a remote or hybrid-remote position. We believe in a collaborative work environment which requires being in the office.
