Solstice was the first commercial producer and processor of medical cannabis in Seattle in 2011 and served as a key policy contributor for the legalization of cannabis and regulatory standards over the last 8 years. Today, Solstice has cultivation and processing headquartered in Seattle, cultivation facilities in central Washington, and manages a growing portfolio of cannabis brands that are distributed to retailers across Washington State.
Brand Ambassador
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Brand Ambassador to be the face and voice of our brand as we continue to grow market share in Washington State. As a successful candidate, you will be involved in increasing brand awareness and sales by promoting our products through various media channels. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to achieve marketing goals and objectives, such as communicating the value of our products to customers, tracking customer feedback, and representing the brand at retail partners and events.
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate must possess a passion for cannabis, have excellent communication and networking skills, and a strong presence on social media. Previous experience as a brand ambassador or similar role is strongly desired, as well as knowledge of sales and marketing principles.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Familiarizing yourself with the company’s mission, vision, and goals.
- Working closely with sales and marketing staff to conceptualize marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Educating customers, retailers, and distributors about our products.
- Creating website and social media content in order to drive brand awareness and attract new customers.
- Building rapport with customers and vendors.
- Monitoring customer feedback and escalating complaints to the marketing department.
- Execute physical merchandising of accounts – setting up displays with product and other collateral. Ensure all visuals and copy is on-brand and displayed according to brand standards.
- Execute digital merchandising of accounts – ensuring they have all needed imagery, menu copy, lifestyle imagery, etc. to properly represent the brand and products.
- Plan, schedule and execute budtender trainings so properly equip accounts to share product and brand features and benefits with consumers.
- Stay current on market trends and competitive commercial activity
- Tracking customer preferences, metrics, and media campaigns.
- Representing the company at product launches, events, and trade shows.
- Brainstorming ideas and participating in training and workshops.
- Maintaining a positive image of the brand at all times.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
- Prior experience in customer service environment.
- Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
- Working knowledge and experience with social media platforms and tools.
- Flexible and able to adapt/work in fast past environment
- Thorough understanding of cannabis products and market
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - outgoing personality
- Ability to drive and travel across Washington state to visit retailers
Physical Requirements / Other:
- Must be able to drive a car/truck; lift up to 45 lbs
- Will be exposed to cannabis grow operations (indoor, greenhouse, field) warehouse or distribution environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear
- Must have close vision, distant vision, ability to adjust focus, peripheral and color vision
