What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distribution Coordinator position at Solvay?
We are looking for: A Distribution Coordinator to commit to and promote the values of the Solvay’s Mission, Purpose and Vision Statements, Environmental Health and Safety Policies, and Product Line Quality Statement. He/she will support and assist the Site Planner / Scheduler in all activities. He/she will also manage the local aspects of the 3PL Warehouse (currently TAGG) Operations from loading trailers at the Cincinnati Site to the loading of shipments at the 3PL site. Completing the Order process at the point of departure from the 3PL Warehouse. We count on you for: Ensure the accurate planning and execution of the agreed upon Production Plan. Work with Site Planner/ Scheduler to maintain the month to month schedule and Supply Chain team for order confirmation, and order allocations which includes Raw Material delivery, quality control, product manufacturing, storage and shipping. Ensure suppliers of services activities are paid without delay caused by logistics, operations, and shipment cost processing Supports the Logistic and Supply Chain team in matters relating to: raw materials, packaging, planning, inventories, project and initiatives Oversee the transactional processing of the logistics steps related to warehouse management monitoring order progress, ensuring delivery on-time to customers within SAP. You will bring: More than 2 years of Warehouse ManagementMore than 3 years of Production Planning, Production Management in chemical production facilityUnderstanding and experience in Logistic / Supply Chain operationsHigh School diploma required; Bachelor degree in relevant subject preferred.Working knowledge of SAP preferred (Specific modules DN)Strong analytical skillsGood communication skills and advance computer knowledge required.Capacity to collaborate and work within a team You will get:The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $80,500 to $100,700. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.
