Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal area
- Perform floor care duties including buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Assist with painting tasks as required
- Conduct cleaning activities to maintain a safe and orderly environment
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial or related roles preferred
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery effectively
- Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $38,000.00 per year
