The shop is at the front of our studio, where we create a line of personal accessories including leather goods and jewelry. Our line, along with design-led products from other companies, is merchandised in the storefront that is customer facing.

Retail Assistants work directly with the Retail Manager and owners of Son of a Sailor to keep the store running beautifully. This person will play a role in cleaning and merchandising the storefront, handling customer transactions in the shop, assisting in keeping accurate inventory and bringing in new product, and helping with content creation for social media.
We are a close-knit team, and are looking for someone with a positive attitude, killer attention to detail, who takes pride in their work. Experience is not necessary, but is preferred. Must be comfortable on a computer, and experience with eCommerce platforms is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain a clean and organized store.
- Manage the cash register and make change for customers.
- Accept orders from customers over the phone, in-person, and online.
- Fulfill and ship outgoing orders, ensuring they are dropped for delivery.
- Post and engage with our audience on our social media platforms.
- Try not to kill the shop plants!
Please note that this is a Retail position that requires weekend availability.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
