Job Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for the financial and commercial performance of the Branch. This role is designed
for an extremely motivated sales leader, who's passionate to support Irby's company goals and objectives. This
individual must possess leadership presence, customer focus and the ability to coach and retain the industry's best
talent. This role reports to the District Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Collaborative with all corporate functions and support teams to drive immediate and long-term objectives.
* Responsible for the Branch P&L, budgeting and sales performance @ 6% Branch Earnings before interest
and Tax (EBIT) or Branch EBIT goal, whichever is greater.
* Leads collaboration with Operational and Credit Administrator to drive profitable operational discipline and
excellence.
* Develops, strengthens, and maintains top 10 customer relationships within their Branch sales territory.
* Develops, strengthens, and maintains local Focus Vendor relationships within their Branch sales territory.
* Participates in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with the District Manager, outside and specialist
associates using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Sonepar Sales Management (SSM) tools.
Determine and account for existing and new customer share gain activities.
* Leads accountability through QBR's and annual performance reviews by setting disciplined and
developmental goals, measuring progress and performance.
* Practices consistent effective mentoring and performance feedback with all Branch associates through
direct or delegated performance reviews, employee recognition, and disciplinary action.
* Drives adoption and execution of all customer omni-channel solutions and services available through Irby
Electric.
* Focused on the acquisition and development of impact talent and succession planning.
Minimum Qualifications
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Consistency in Leadership.
* Competitive and collaborative team player.
* Alignment in core values and compliance.
* Capable in using Microsoft Office Suite and in learning Irby Electric tools.
* Preferred - Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
Physical Demands
* While performing the duties of this of this job, the associate is frequently required to stand. The associate
must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Vision abilities include close, distance and peripheral vision
and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
* Typical environments include offices, light and heavy industrial, commercial, utility and manufacturing. The
noise level is usually moderated. PPE for any site visit is typically required.
