Reports to : Showroom Manager
- Participate in and support marketing efforts for the showroom
- Work assigned showroom floor time, assisting clients in a manner that maintains long term relationships.
- Generate sales of decorative and architectural lighting through in-showroom client engagement.
- Minimize returns through customer assistance, thoughtful selections, and excellent follow-up with vendors and customers.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, attractive, and organized showroom appearance to enhance sales.
- May be assigned to open / close showroom as directed
- Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager
Required Skills :
- Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
- Strong analytical skills with a consistent focus on fact-based decision making.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years lighting and industry knowledge preferred.
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to manage the work of others and drive the sales growth of the showroom.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to enter data, navigate screens and retrieve data in order management systems.
