Sales Operations Manager
Leading a team of customer service and sales associates

As a part of the sales management team our Sales Operations Manager will act as a leader and coach for local store managers, customer service representatives and insides sales professionals. This role is responsible for developing associates to be strong sales professionals and supporting the roll-out of sales initiatives that impact these teams.
Other responsibilities include:
- work with sales management team to advance sales growth initiatives and understand the role of your team in achieving these goals.
- Actively engage in communication and coordination with setting and measuring expectations for sales teams
- Work with inside sales to establish and execute customer plans for profitable growth of market share and gross margin
- Manage and develop training opportunities for sales teams to ensure consistent use of sales tools and technology
- Identify and initiate necessary vendor training for sales teams.
- Coordinate with key vendor partners to ensure proper visibility within the stores as well as the sales office.
- Demonstrated Leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage staffing and performance management responsibilities
- Ability to mentor and develop sales professionals
- Strong understanding of the wholesale electrical distribution market and Viking Electric's competitors
- Ability to understand and analyze financial data
- Previous sales or equivalent experience with an aptitude for management responsibilities
- Bachelor's Degree in a business field or equivalent experience
