• Cook (Grill / Fry / Prep)

As a SONIC Drive-In restaurant Cook, you will oversee the Appetite Satisfaction Department, which involves operating the following stations: Food Production, Grill, Fryer and other tasks if applicable. You will also package all menu items and check product quality and consistency.

Requirements:

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays

• Ability to be flexible in all situations based on restaurant business need

• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills

• General knowledge and understanding of the food service / restaurant industry or retail operations preferred, but not required

Similar roles are line cooks (concinero / cocinera) who have cooking, chef, saute cook or grill cook kitchen experience in a high volume restaurant environment. We're also looking for those who have back of house preparation / food prep / production experience along with cash register experience. In that area, you will focus on taking orders from guests with accurate cash register and order entry. You will be expected to provide efficiency and teamwork in a growing and dynamic environment.
