Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our team. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients to produce high-quality images and provide accurate interpretations. Your expertise will contribute to the overall patient care and treatment plans.

Duties:
- Perform ultrasound scans on patients using specialized equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians for diagnostic evaluation
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate patient care
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills:
- Proficient in performing a variety of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, breast, and musculoskeletal.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings for optimal image quality
- Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals

Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
-ARDMS certified (RDMS or RVT)
- Current state license

-BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer in a clinical setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
