Role Summary
A unique opportunity to lead one of the most innovative XDR product businesses in the market. Supported by the vision and investment of Sophos you will be responsible for defining and building industry recognized innovative XDR solutions. We are looking for a leader with a product leadership background in extended Detection and Response, ideally with Incident Response practice experience and a technical background, to drive investment, innovation and evolution our XDR capabilities. You will be a data driven individual that unites cross functional teams behind a clear vision, strategy and plan. You will be focused on customer outcomes and solving the most prevalent market problems in this domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing investment into the product and practices, with goals to simplify interpreting, analyzing, and correlation of complex security events. Focused on delivering customer value through the identification of indicators of compromise and offer remediation options. You must possess a good blend of team leadership, technical savvy, and the ability to work closely with engineering with a big-picture vision that you can communicate to the senior management team, customers, partners and industry analysts. While this role will engage with engineering, research, sales, pre-sales and professional services on a technical level, it will also be an evangelist for the Sophos XDR offerings, both internally and externally and work with the field team to drive business growth through enablement.
What You Will Do
- Partner with Engineering leadership to develop innovative and unique XDR products and services with a focus on intuitive design and a great customer experience for larger scale Enterprise customers and with understanding and sympathy for the SMB and mid-market
- Identify opportunities and conduct market analysis to form business cases
- Produce product and service requirements documents that identify product optimizations, opportunities, and innovations
- Execute product roadmaps for product, service and proposition launches and enhancements to quality, time and budget goals.
- Drive strong commercial results in both revenue and customer adoption in global XDR business
- Engage with Customers, Partners, and Sales as a subject matter expert to provide guidance and information, delivering the most effective solutions to meet customer needs.
- Engage with Marketing to provide guidance and expertise for the go to market strategy, product positioning, key benefits, and other marketing deliverables
- Collaborate with other Product Managers in Sophos, identifying synergies, flagging dependencies/risks, aimed at delivering cross product and cross business unit deliverables while ensuring that the best company-level decisions are taken.
- Maintain knowledge of competitors’ offerings and assist in identifying market opportunities and gaps in the Sophos offerings in order to ensure that Sophos XDR remains competitive and leading in the marketplace.

- This position requires some travel to Sophos locations, Partners and Customers worldwide
What You Will Bring
- In-depth knowledge of endpoint security products especially EDR/XDR
- In-depth knowledge of security monitoring and incident response requirements
- Experience with using SIEM products and their value propositions
- Experience with sales, marketing and overall GTM motions
- Proven experience within a product management in both IC and lead roles, ideally Director level
- Conducting market analysis, making business cases, and driving product requirements
- Influencing at a senior level
- Technical acumen
