Position Overview :
Primary point of contact for researching, reviewing, and resolving Payer-specific operations issues. Ensures timely and accurate posting of escalated cash transactions, payments, adjustments, manual denials, insufficient fund checks / debit transactions, and general ledger accounting transactions.
Balances, reconciles and records all escalated transactions in a timely, accurate manner to ensure transactions are posted to the appropriate general ledger.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE :
4 years recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :
Familiarity with general hospital management principles, practices, and procedures.
In-depth knowledge / awareness of all areas related to Payer Relations and how they interrelate.
Working knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques related to compliant healthcare billing / collections.
Ability to complete multiple projects and manage shifting priorities with frequent interruptions.
Detail oriented, flexible, and able to prioritize own workload, with the ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
Knowledge of computers : Excel and Word proficient; and skill in the operation of other office equipment.
Organizational, interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Pay Range is $30.50 to $44.23 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.
