SOTA CLOTHING COMPANY is a leading apparel and lifestyle brand that brings the joy of the Midwest to the masses. We carry an extensive line of products from sweatshirts, hats, drinkware, home decor, and many more. We have an extensive amount of rotating products throughout each of Minnesota's four seasons. We have 2 storefront locations; in Stillwater and our "Home Base" location in St Louis Park.
We are seeking a Retail Store Manager to join our team! You will be the first point of contact for customers who visit our store. The position requires a high level of customer engagement and the ability to multitask while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter the store
- Offer to help customers with their purchases if they are unsure about their purchase; if they have a hard time finding the item, you can point them in the right direction.
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment
- Maintain inventory by cleaning stock shelves and keeping them organized
- Maintain product by removing damaged or obsolete merchandise and replacing with similar items or new arrivals
- Adhere to scheduled store cleanings and product displays
- Oversee all store operations by ensuring employees and customers are primary focus in day-to-day operations.
- Teach, Train, and Hire staff to fit business needs
- Coaching and developing staff to take on more responsibilities
- Provide all necessary feedback of employee performances
- Write monthly schedule pertaining to monthly payroll
- Come up with in-store events to drive sales and engage within the community
- Routine touchbases within the corporate offices with progress, updates, and salesfloor assortment needs
- Works on salesfloor
- Addressing customer issues or complaints, as necessary
- Assisting Visual Merchandiser with new floor sets
- Weekly social media posts, as needed
- Report any building issues or tech issues to the corporate office for fixes
Training
- Training for this store will be held at our Saint Louis Park location prior to it's Grand Opening.
Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years of Manager experience required
- Basic math skills (subtraction, addition, multiplication, division) required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
