People Operations Specialist

Reporting to and supporting the Director, Global People Operations & Technology, the People Operations Specialist at SoundHound will be instrumental in delivering an extraordinary employee experience, building positive relationships with our employees, and cultivating a company culture that emphasizes continuous improvement, and high performance.

This position operates as a day-to-day administrative face of HR, proactively addressing all HR inquiries, coordinating immigration tasks, ensuring data integrity, supporting HR key processes and programs, and all other necessary administration to ensure a successful life cycle at SoundHound.  

In this role you will:

• Respond to day-to-day people operations inquiries and serve as the first point of contact for employees to address and resolve their requests, concerns 
• Administer New Hire Orientation and facilitate onboarding tasks for all employees including global, and US remote offices
• Serve as the main immigration point of contact for managers, new hires, existing employees, vendors, and legal counsel, providing continuous support and coordination to keep the immigration process moving
• Support all employee data related tasks, while ensuring the highest level of data integrity, confidentiality and security
• Conduct exit interviews, and process all tasks related to off-boarding
• Provides advice, assistance, and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation
• Recommend process improvements, identify issues, and make suggestions as appropriate
• Contribute to company wide initiatives as they relate to operations, security and compliance

• You have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or equivalent work experience
• You have strong business insight and understanding of cross-functional work
• You are customer focused, responsive with a sense of urgency
• You have the ability to lead projects to successful completion, multi-task, and work within tight deadlines
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills - concise, articulate, confident
• You have the ability to work productively and collaboratively with team members and provide extraordinary customer service
• You are flexible and able to quickly adjust to new priorities
• You have the ability to develop strong partnering relationships across all levels of the organization
• You demonstrate a track record of effectively organizing and executing on priorities
