Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Perform maintenance tasks such as repairing or replacing faulty electrical wiring, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other mechanical components
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems using schematics, logic controllers, and other technical documentation
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed for repairs or modifications
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and completion of projects
- Supervise contractors or external service providers when necessary
Requirements:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and logic controllers
- Ability to weld and fabricate parts as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance
