Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist Account Executives with a regional strategic plan to achieve or exceed goals for assigned accounts
- Proactively assist the Account Executive team by researching and qualifying new leads, and nurture existing leads.
- Collaborates with the Account Executive team to identify potential leads for new opportunities and schedule meetings on behalf of the assigned account executive team members.
- Research and have a complex understanding of enterprise solutions and be familiar with their function and purpose to expand awareness of compatible contracts, products, or services.
- Accurately document participants' interactions, concerns, and resolutions in Salesforce to track and analyze trends, feedback, and to manage sales opportunities.
- Research and have an intermediate understanding of government structure and legal requirements of assigned region as it relates to positioning Sourcewell's solutions.
- Proficiently complete outbound calls with new participating users of assigned accounts to understand their needs and provide an overview of Sourcewell solutions.
- Respond to phone, email, and chat inquiries in accordance with service level delivery standards.
- Effectively communicate with participating users to understand their needs and make account updates within Salesforce.
- Coordinate flow of amendments or other documentation necessary for participating agencies to effectively use a Sourcewell contract or solution.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and expand professional connections.
- Serve as a co-presenter and assist Account Executives, and independently presents at industry tradeshows and conferences with proficiency.
- Proficiently facilitate training or product demonstrations for assigned accounts virtually and in person.
- Coordinate the flow of amendments or other documentation necessary for participating agencies to effectively use a Sourcewell solution.
- Provide proficient technical expertise, application administration, and training on Salesforce and other account related systems to the team.
- Lead the development of standard work instructions, policies, and procedures related to the position.
Additional Job Description:
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in a relevant field AND two (2) year of experience in sales management, PYL management, business development, account management, client relations/development, or other directly related experience, OR
- A combination of related post-secondary and/or professional education/training and demonstrated relevant work experience equivalent to a total of four (4) years.
- Experience working in a business environment
- Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Experience serving internal or external customers
- Three (3) or more years of experience in sales management, PYL management, business development, account management, client relations/development, or other directly related experience
