South College Orlando Campus is conducting a search for the position of adjunct clinical instructors teaching clinical/lab courses for the School of Nursing’s undergraduate program. Clinical instructional opportunities are available during the day and/or weekends in various subject matter areas.
Clinical sites include hospital settings, rehab facilities, long-term care facilities, and other appropriate healthcare facilities in the Orlando area.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Maintain professional standards of practice in teaching in the clinical setting
· Collaborate with course faculty and work closely with the Associate Dean of Nursing
· Facilitates effective learning and critical thinking/reasoning during the clinical experience while fostering a positive learning environment.
· Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with clinical affiliates.
· Monitors student progress with evaluations and grades care plans assigned. Provides constructive when needed
Requirements:
· Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
· Hold an unrestricted license to practice in Florida
