The University of South Dakota’s Sanford School of Medicine (SSOM)’s Center for Rural Health Improvement (CRHI) is hiring a Research and Project Coordinator. CRHI hosts a portfolio of community facing projects under the Family Medicine Department of the SSOM. The Research and Project Coordinator will coordinate projects in the CRHI portfolio. This position will assist the CRHI with supporting current projects and assist in identification of new grants, contracts, and/or opportunities. This position will assist in the entirety of the grant cycle and will work directly with external partners in the coordination of project implementation. Prior experience coordinating grants/projects/programs and a working understanding or experience regarding substance use disorder and/or opioid use disorder or medications for opioid use disorder would be preferred. The Research Coordinator will be responsible for an array of deliverables associated with CRHI projects. Understanding of program or project management/implementation, research, evaluation, and/or capabilities with data management are preferred. This position requires agility and flexibility to manage various projects at one time and may require learning a new topic area. There will be other duties as assigned to assist in the operations of CRHI. This position is grant/contract funded.
