We are searching for a Registered Nurse for CVICU to perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.  May assume Charge responsibility for assigned personnel and activities as required or directed.

This department supports the Award-Winning Cardiac Surgery program at Charlton Memorial Hospital. You will work with the Catheter Lab and Cardiac Surgery Departments. We are proud of our patient to nurse ratios, nurse-driven protocols, orientation program, and 24-hour resource and support. We are looking for experienced RNs.

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital – Fall River, MA

Hours: 36 hours - Modified Full Time

          The Weekend-Only Program is designed to reward and motivate employees in selected clinical professions to commit to a long-term scheduling option involving working on most weekends. Employees are expected to maintain this commitment to be eligible for the weekend-only premium

Shift: 7:15pm - 7:15am, (2) Weekends and (1) Weekday with weekend & holiday rotations
 
Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• CVICU experience is highly preferred.

• $15,000 New Hire Sign On with 3 years of CVICU experience
• $12,000 New Hire Sign On with 1-3 years of CVICU experience
• $10,000 New Hire Sign On with 1 years of Hospital RN Experience OR Less than 1 year CVICU experience
• Rehires termed greater than 1 year are eligible
