Job Title: Data Analyst
Job Goal: The data analyst is responsible for accurately collecting, organizing, and reporting a broad range of student and school improvement data.
Terms of Employment: Full-Time (40 hours per week), School Year
Qualifications:
Analyzes and prepares reports from local, state, and national assessment data as it relates to student performance and school improvement.
Develops and maintains historical student and school data files to monitor and track performance.
Conducts data analysis and produces reports, as directed by the Superintendent, Principal, Vice Principal of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, or designees.
Interprets and reviews data with District and High School administrators and teachers.
Reviews data files to ensure validity and accuracy of data presented to stakeholders.
Works with District and High School administrators to conduct training in the use of data to improve student achievement.
Attends, and leads as appropriate, training sessions related to the use of data to improve student achievement.
Develops and delivers reports for various stakeholders, including the School Committee, as directed by the Superintendent, Principal, or designee.
All other duties as assigned by the Superintendent, Principal, or designee.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in information technology or related field.
- Three years or more of relevant experience in a K-12 or higher education setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, including Excel and PowerBI, as well as a variety of data processing software, applications, and databases.
- Proven ability to gather, collate, analyze, synthesize, and report data.
- Strong communication skills, particularly as they relate to explaining statistics and data to a broad range of stakeholder with varying levels of technical training and proficiency.
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive data and information.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may deem appropriate and acceptable.
