SUMMARY:
As a Chemical Distribution Specialist your goal will be to deliver chemicals to our customers in a safe, timely, efficient, and courteous manner. Frequently interacting with our customers on the frontlines, you must possess strong interpersonal skills as you will serve as a company ambassador dedicated to providing exceptional customer service with every interaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely deliver small bulk chemicals to customers in box truck (or truck similar)
- Assist with problem-solving and technical support of chemical products and equipment
- Provide service of equipment, which may include visually inspecting, repairing, and adjusting chemical feed equipment
- Adhere to all safety requirements particular to hauling chemicals including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections
- Develop rapport and professional relationships with customer base
- Comply with Company policies and practices
- Other duties assigned as needed
COMPETENCIES:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Class B CDL License with Hazmat endorsement with acceptable driving record
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Basic computer and math skills
- Physically able to lift 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally, safely operate a forklift, climb in and out of the truck and enter customer sites repeatedly, reach overhead and perform manual tasks, and work in all weather conditions indoors and outdoors in required PPE – all while following safety standards and requirements

SAFETY:

- Must follow all federal DOT regulations when operating company vehicles
