What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal secretary position at Southern Brain & Spine?
A Legal Secretary is typically assigned to a physician, and assists in scheduling legal and worker comp patients. Employee must be able to obtain medical records, load those onto the electronic health record, bill and collect fees for those records, and schedule corresponding appointments. Each case has to be followed, sometimes involving scheduling of depositions and possible trial dates.
The legal secretary must be very organized, self-directed and pro-active in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to adapt to change on a regular basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
