Description
This position works the residential new and/or existing markets promoting profitable end use products and services to achieve an assigned sales goal. The position offers the opportunity to build and leverage relationships with assigned allies including residential builders, developers, and HVAC dealers. Responsibilities include promoting the advantages of electric end uses products & services, teaming with Power Delivery to provide service for ally projects and working with Marketing Strategy to develop ideas into programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed all sales goals through the sale of electric end use products and through the application of energy efficiency programs.
- Develop in-depth relationships with, but not limited to, managed builders, developers, HVAC dealers that lead to electric end use sales and exceptional survey scores
- Internally and externally manage set expectations of residential developments from inception to completion
- Utilize technology to track project and sales growth in near real time.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the assigned sales territory, its customer base, market conditions, and electric end use product applications.
- Adhere to all residential sales reporting guidelines and records retention
- Develop efficiencies in the organization to increase productivity
- Team with Power Delivery, Accounting, Program Management and Marketing Strategy to ensure we meet our customer's needs and exceed our customer value goals.
Candidates with the following preferred qualifications are encouraged to apply:
Education/Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or related work experience in Engineering, Marketing, Real Estate or Business preferred.
Experience
- Experience in marketing, engineering, home building, HVAC Sales and/or real estate is highly preferred
- Demonstrated sales and customer service experience is preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong management skills: ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments to produce timely results and ensure customer service is met
- Demonstrated the ability to build in depth relationships, both internal and external to achieve goals of the team
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills; including the ability to interface daily with allies and management at all levels of the organization
- Must possess strong negotiation skills
- High degree of technical competence within the residential market
- Effectively manages and resolves customer issues with the highest levels of professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Skilled in the use of technology to enhance personal efficiency and daily prioritization of workflow
- Flexible to changing business demands and priorities
- Sales and account management skills, or the ability to develop those skills
- The ability to plan and prioritize daily activities to achieve a goal (self-manage)
- The ability to understand electric end use products and their application.
- Ability to create effective sales campaigns to drive end use sales
- The ability to thrive in a team environment
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to be proactive, self-motivated and receive feedback well
- Demonstrated a high level of ethical behavior to create trust and credibility
- Professional in approach and interactions
