Duties are to include, although not limited to:

Daily:

  • Safety Tailgate meetings:
    • Tailgate meeting conducted prior to the dispersal of crew.
    • Complete and/or review required JSA, HASP, Confined Space Permit, and any other documentation to ensure mitigation of safety risks and direct safe work processes. To oversee crews completed documents, review for compliance, discuss, and direct corrective actions where applicable.
  • Crew readiness:
  • Ensure all crews are ready for the job that they are about to go begin. This includes having the correct tools as well as any specialty tools that the job may require. This also includes ensuring the professionalism of the crews and equipment.
  • Crew Safety Compliance
    • Audit crew for assurance that they have all required PPE and other safety equipment prior to and during field work.
  • Crew Management
    • Collaborate with crew in field to ensure job performance is compliant and assist where applicable.
  • Training
    • Facilitate new and ongoing training of the crews in the field. This includes daily operations as well as specialty training required for specific jobs. This also includes any corrective training requested from office administration or management.
  • Daily Report
    • Throughout each day the Foreman will be, keeping notes and documenting progress of, equipment, personnel, and tasks performed, for discussion with upper management upon the end of day.
  • Maintain Professionalism
    • The Foreman is always to conduct themselves in a professional manor as well as the crews.
  • Return of crews
    • Ensure that all crews and equipment are back from the field, cleaned and stored, at the intended time.
  • Weekly:

  • Production Audit
    • Conduct audits regarding each individual crew’s performance and productivity. Define and identify concerns and collaborate with Supervisor to propose a corrective action plan.
  • Schedule
    • Collaborate upcoming work with Supervisor to create a schedule. The scheduling will consist of identifying crew location, project name, expected duration, personnel required, equipment required, and ancillary items needed to complete projects. Assisting with quantifying and stocked.
  • Monthly:

  • Truck Equipment Audit
    • Monthly or as needed, the Foreman will inspect each truck and equipment on their project to ensure the equipment is compliant and ready for operations.
  • Customer Changes
    • Communicate changes at the request of our clients to the field and ensure execution. (This may be more frequent.)
    • Other duties assigned as needed, to support the company’s operational needs.
Qualifications

Minimal requirements include:

  • Five (5) or more years of experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Five or more years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Above-average customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Capable of working under time constraints to ensure critical pathways are, tracked, communicated, and obtained.

Travel for this position, expected, and can be up to 75% per year. Overnight/multiple night travel required, including out-of-state travel. Per diem paid.


If you are unable to travel, you should communicate that restriction, in writing, to the Hiring Manager and ask for an exception. Exceptions, not guaranteed, will not be honored unless in writing and signed by both the Applicant and the Hiring Manager.

This position has the potential to for exposure to harsh environmental conditions. Work will be at various mine sites and power plants in the country. A variety of tasks require the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs., walk without assistance, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
