The Learning and Development Partner (LDP) will be assigned responsibilities in accordance to experience and professional mastery of subject matter content in order to effectively lead the needs of the organization. The LDP will be responsible for the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of management/leadership and staff learning and development; and coordinate system wide learning & development initiatives with other leaders/departments.
Responsibilities
- Assesses education, training, and development needs of assigned leaders and staff in the organization
- Conducts needs analysis in support of program design and delivery
- Develops programs and designs curriculum and materials to meet training outcomes as defined by needs assessment
- Designs and facilitates customized leadership training programs
- Partner with leaders, educators, and key stakeholders to actively participate in program development and facilitation.
- Plans, develops, and delivers programs and interventions that focus on the development of current and future organization leaders
- Identifies and disseminates cutting edge practices in training/professional development/education
- Assesses and measures training and development programs to ensure relevancy to the needs of SIH’s strategy, vision and mission.
- Compiles and uses evaluative data to measure program effectiveness and drive program development.
- Coordinate internal coaching program. Provide leaders with training on coaching principles. Provide ongoing support to coach trainees. Partner with HRBPs to identify needs for leadership coaching. Connect individuals with trained coaches.
- Coordinate Hogan Assessment program. Assign assessment testing to individuals. Connect participants with certified debriefers.
- Support other talent management initiatives of the Talent Management team, such as: performance management, talent reviews and succession planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology or Human Resources
- Instructional Design Certificate (Assoc. for Talent Development– ATD) or Master Instructional Designer program required within one year of placement.
- One year of experience in adult learning and workforce development preferred
- One year of experience in instructional design and training delivery preferred
