Our company is looking to hire a full time Fleet Administrator.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collect, track and follow-up on weekly DVIRs for all divisions within company
- Maintain master vehicle/trailer spreadsheet, amending with changes
- When vehicles are purchased, ensure property taxes are paid, titles received and vehicle is registered in correct state.
- Schedule and take trips to register vehicles at DMV (North and South Carolina)
- Create folders for new vehicle, coordinate with shop on vehicle numbering for accurate record keeping. Maintain files with copies of all registration forms, etc.
- When vehicles are sold, prepare Bill of Sale, return license plate to DMV, request refund (if due from state), complete/send title for new owner
- Add and remove vehicles from insurance when purchased/sold
- Ensure all commercial vehicles have current DOT Annual inspections (follow-up annually to ensure new DOT inspections are completed and required paperwork and stickers are on vehicles)
- Ensure all state registrations are up to date and renewed timely. Pass out to managers (or place on trucks/trailers)
- Request duplicate registration stickers or plates at DMV when lost or damaged in field
- Ensure each vehicle has up to date insurance cards (When insurance renewal takes place, cards to be replaced with new ones)
- Track and coordinate preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment throughout the year
Job Requirement Qualifications:
HS diploma, or GED equivalent, is required. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
Detail oriented.
