($90k - $95k ANNUAL $5K INCREASE @ 90 DAYS WITH SATIFACTORY PERFORMANCE)
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager with prior construction experience to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals to help with the commercial sales or leasing of Conex storage containers and offices. You will develop and implement effective sales strategies, conduct outside sales activities, and provide sales training to your team. You will create successful sales plans to drive revenue growth. Your major end result will be to lead the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee day to day operations of the Tucson Sales Team.
- Set short-term and long-term sales goals.
- Track, monitor and manage the sales team’s performance.
- Analyze data and reports to create process improvement plans.
- Develop sales team though motivation, counseling and product knowledge.
- Adhere to monthly reporting requirements for review by upper management.
- Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
- Promote the organization and products through various trade shows and industry association meetings.
- Identify and prospect potential customers within the assigned territory, including construction companies, general commercial retailers, and other industries that require storage solutions.
- Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures.
- Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
- Monitor competitor pricing and offerings.
- Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to management on territory performance, market trends, and opportunities for growth.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, industry regulations, and market trends to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, understand competitor activity, and stay updated on industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and timely delivery of containers.
- Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense control.
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company's global reach.
- Recruit sales representatives, set objectives, train and coach them, and monitor their performance.
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them.
- Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives and monitor progress.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Perform additional duties requested by upper management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies.
- Strong knowledge of CRM software.
- Encourage and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Advanced knowledge in software applications i.e. Dodge, Bluebook, and MS Office Suite Products.
- Ability to encourage and motivate a team.
- Ability to make informed and timely decision.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in sales management.
- Previous experience in construction industry.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time.
- Experience in developing and implementing successful sales plans.
- Experience in using CRM software to manage sales activities and customer relationships.
- $5k Increase at 90 days upon satisfactory performance
