Base Pay: 85,000 - $110,000 BOE Bonus
Travel: 25%-50% travel – will fluctuate
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development.
• Responsible for managing the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organization’s presence.
• Lead and schedule team meetings with sales team and leadership.
• Embody company culture and maintain high sales employee engagement.
• Meet pre-determined revenue goals through the activities of sales force.
• Train and ensure adherence to sales process.
• Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Company's products and services applicable to the assigned geography (see above office location) market segment, territory, and key accounts.
• Gain proficiency in using the Company's business systems used to track and process all customer data, projects, and sales transactions.
• Ensure team develops lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from personal contacts, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other lead software resources.
• Manage the response and work with vendor leads as assigned and maintain respectful vendor relationships in daily business interactions
• Attend trade shows and conduct educational product introductions/training to targeted audiences (architects and designers), building and facilities managers, etc.
• Provide information to Company's business development team to guide them in setting appointments with qualified customers.
• Travel throughout assigned territory to call on customers with sales team members under your charge to determine business organization systems needs and opportunities to propose solutions.
• Seek and attract prospects following Southwest Solutions Group goals.
• Responsible for promoting the company's products and services and for building relationships with new and existing accounts
• Drive the development of new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives within assigned territory for each team member
• Stay abreast of bid opportunities within the territory and obtain/review bid documents to allow response in a timely manner.
• Lead weekly (face to face or via Webcam or GoToMeeting) to review Sales Results, Sales Pipeline, and Sales Activity and fulfill the next steps and instructions because of that monthly meeting.
• Attend all meetings and sales functions as dictated by SSG Leadership
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant real-world experience in business or related field
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• 3 plus years of successful Sales Leadership experience
• A proven track record of leadership success with teams of 5 or more
