Southwestern Healthcare is seeking a full-time IT Systems Technician-Tier 1 to add to our team of professionals. This position is responsible for logging and resolving Level 1 support issues, workstation / printer management and deployments, application management and deployments, account management, basic server and network management, desk and mobile phone management and deployments, user security initiatives and maintenance, and other duties as assigned.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Respond to technical inquiries via phone, email, text, and chat.
- Manage Help Desk tickets within set SLA guidelines, while documenting calls, responses, problem resolution, and escalating unresolved or advance issues to appropriate technical personnel as required.
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Install, reconfigure, repair, replace, and upgrade PCs, printers, copiers, iPads, laptops, Chromebooks, iPhones, virtual desktops, and other devices as needed according to the nature of the problem and warranty coverage.
- Create, manage, and modify computer images as needed for hardware deployment.
- Write training manuals using clear and concise methodologies.
- Use network tools to troubleshoot basic computer connectivity problems.
- Review system, network, and application logs to perform problem/cause analysis.
- Add, modify, delete users, computers, and groups within an Active Directory environment.
- Seek ways to improve the end-user experience and optimize operations.
- Manage inventory of IT hardware.
- Assist in the purchasing of IT hardware, including researching hardware, recommending hardware configurations, and generating purchase orders.
- Assist Network Engineer with network cabling of offices and IT equipment.
- Work with Systems Administrator and/or Network Engineer on other IT related projects and tasks.
WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
- Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems or other related degree required.
- Experience working in an enterprise or small business Active Directory environment preferred.
- Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation with limited on-call hours.
- A or N certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and time management skills with a customer service focus required.
- Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and qualify for Southwestern's vehicle liability insurance.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.

- Use vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
- Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.
- Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
