Southwire Job Description
Location: Carrollton - Thorn Center
Individual is responsible for supporting and advancing the Dot.com/Auto Channel Sales business objectives with respect to all facets of sales and customer management.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain a high level of communication and proactive interaction with existing, and potential customers.
• Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure orders have stock and confirm shipment dates.
• Manage and coordinate daily routines of customer service including but not limited to, quotations, product availability, order management, order expediting and customer issues.
• Perform and analyze customer margins, open orders, back order reports.
• Ability to work across all departments, both internal and external, to meet customer needs and expectations (i.e. Marketing, Demand Planning, Operations, etc.)
• Work effectively with Outside sales agents.
• Develop rapport with customers, serving as primary or supporting contact as determined by account.
• Respond by phone or email in a timely and professional manner
• Perform various duties and responsibilities, which promote sales and overall success of Southwire Company.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
• Requires B.S. in Business Administration or related degree.
• Skilled in SAP
• Must possess excellent communications, organization, presentation, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including PowerPoint, Word with an emphasis in Excel.
• Capable of learning Southwire sales and company information systems, product knowledge on Wire and Tools.
