What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN/FHC Danville PRN position at SOVAH Health - Danville?

As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.  
 


Minimum Education

Graduate of a Program in Practical Nursing required

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.  Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including week-ends and holidays to insure continuity of care and appropriateness of nursing coverage to the patients of Sovah Health Danville.

Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association required

Licenses

Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Virginia Board of Nursing or compact State required
