Program Manager Job Summary
Sparks Group has partnered with an industry leading pharmaceutical company to find a Program Manager. This is a remote, contract role! As the Program Manager you will coordinate across multiple commercial functions to develop and maintain launch plans, assist in Integrated asset planning, support project management, and contribute to other core operational activities.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Determine project management methodology per project, manage project materials, utilizing project management tools and processes
- Partner with the Home Office Teams to create and manage launch governance structure and organizational preparation / execution
- Partner with the Home Office Teams to support strategic project management for base business activities
- Support Inventory management of specific resources
- Document risks/issues and mitigation strategies
- Prepare leadership presentations and high-level cross-functional project support
- Develop and maintain project plans including decision points to communicate with leadership
- Support specific planning project by managing the process and assisting in the creation of budget and presentation materials
- Other value-added projects, workshops, etc. as needed by the marketing team
- Own overall specific program planning and documentation, creating and maintaining timelines and driving launch to major milestones across functions
- Track and report Launch Readiness, drive launch to major milestones across functions
- Drive cross functional and agency partners to achieve goals in a timely and efficient manner
- Facilitate decision-making, risk assessments, mitigation &timely issue resolution
- Lead launch readiness process, including reporting and decision-making
- Be “go-to” person for requests related to team plans, documents, communications
- Coordinate with Brand Marketing team and Channel Strategy Team, manage interdependencies
- Develop and moderate/facilitate strategy planning and launch planning workshops
Program Manager Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- 5 years’ Program Management/Project Management experience
- Advanced user of MS Office applications; advanced PowerPoint skills a must
- Advanced user of Microsoft Planner, Monday.com or other similar
- Able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering results on time
- Impeccable presentation and communications skills (written and verbal); interpersonal, organizational skills; Able to successfully collaborate cross-functionally with all levels
- Willing to roll up and pitch in where needed; team player; proactive; able to step outside the standard PM role
- Experience directly supporting a marketing team is preferred
- Lifesciences, Pharma or Healthcare experience
